Coram's Fields: City Farm

Our Animals are not currently at Coram's Fields due to the coronavirus outbreak

Animals are currently re-housed at local city farms.

We’re looking at how and when we can get our animals back but we want to take the opportunity to make some small improvements to the animal area before. We are hoping to bring them back early next year.

Animals

Our small farm is home to a herd of goats, lots of cute, furry rabbits, a handful of birds in our aviary, chickens and some resident field mice that keep them all company throughout the year.

During the spring and summer months, you’ll see our goats roaming freely around the grassed area on the parks perimeter – a sight to behold in the heart of Central London

Whilst we’re not able to offer petting sessions for children, visitors are able to get up close and personal to the animals. Our new chicken coop is open to the public at all times unless the chickens are out for their daily exercise

Health and Safety

We want everybody to enjoy our animals, here’s just a few things to remember when visiting the farm;

Hand washing

Hand washing facilities are available close to the animal area and visitors are asked to wash their hands thoroughly after meeting the animals

Feeding

We do feed our animals everyday so we ask visitors to refrain from doing so for us. The animals all have different, special diets and the wrong kind of food can make them very poorly

Photos

All our animals have given their consent to have their picture taken so we welcome selfies. If you get some nice pictures during your visit, please share them with us on our Facebook or Twitter pages

Animal Sponsorship

Caring for the animals throughout the year in busy central London is a challenging task and our Ground Staff do the best they can to make sure the animals are all well looked after. However, a sponsorship from you will mean that your donation will go towards their upkeep and towards the general benefit of the animals. Browse through the gallery of some of your favourite animals and then simply fill in the sponsorship form and return it to our main office to begin sponsoring a Coram’s Fields City Farm animal today.
